Default increasing HP 1995 7.3

hey guys, I just bought a bone stock 1995 7.3L turbo diesel and I want to know what direction I should go in. I want to be able to build lots of power with it. whats the best thing to start with?

the basics are gauges, intake, exhaust and a chip.

A resistor on the ICP is fun. I tried that for a while on top of a SuperChips programmer. Also did the exhaust brake mod with the warmup valve. It was a 5spd f350 crew 4x4.

When you do an oil change, make sure there's still a relief valve in the base (cooler end-housing). Mine was missing, and I got a 99+ cooler instead.

A resistor on the ICP sensor or 10k mod as its called will net you almost no HP and can cause more problems in the end. Do not do it unless you like half assing your pickup.
