Default Best way to clean out a radiator

Im replacing my radiator on my 97 PSD because the one in the truck now has I leak in the end tank. I have a used radiator im going to use im curious on what is the best way to clean it out? I have noticed the radiator im using has a coating of a yellow powder like substance and I want to get all that junk out before I put it in the truck.

Vinegar or hot water and dawn and try to run it thru and cycle it around in the radiator. If you have a long hose so you can connect the lower and upper raiator and cylce water and dawn thru it, or cap it and some vinegar and fill it with water and let it sit and rinse and repeat as neccesary.

If you put the vinegar in first the water pressure will mix it up good, just let it sit and let it work and then rise it out and see if it helped.

I've heard that muriatic acid can be used. Does anyone have tried it? To me, muriatic is too stong.
