Default How many miles you have on your 6.4 PSD

I bought my 2008 F-250 brand new on 10/23/2008 & I now have 50,200 miles & i've only has a DPF light warning on the dash, but the next day it went away

Mines a job 1 with 39xxx but I've only had it for a little over 3 months. Only issues since I've had it: clock spring in the steering column messed up the cruise, torn rubber boot on the steering, lines for what I think run the 4x4 kept popping out of their holders. Of course it's on its 3rd P/S pump since it was new but I haven't had any issues with that *knock on wood* and had something to do with the pass VC fixed before I got it.

The only time I've had anything DPF related was when I first got the truck and set it back to stock-I forgot the DPF was in my garage and it threw some codes, wiped codes put a canned tune on with DPF off and no more issue.

I have a 2008 F-250 Super Duty Ext.Cab XLT 213,000 miles stock. Previous owner was Enterprise Fleet Leasing, went through 6 radiators when they owned it. I am installing Coolant filter kit, CCV mod, DPF/Cat Delete with a tuner...have not made up my mind on tuner ...still looking.

WOW !!! That's a lot of miles on a DPF truck I've never had any issues with the radiator your truck must have been built before 8/2007

Yes, it was built 3/2007. Still have some concerns about removing stock parts and un leashing it after 213K miles....the tuner trans. re-learn is my BIGGEST worry

I checked Oasis report. Last radiator replaced at 171K miles, previous owner had to pay 300.00 deductable, so hopefully it ok now. I am still installing the Coolant Filter Mod. and CCV mod also to go along with the DPF/Cat Delete and Tuner

I just bought my truck on Tuesday, it currently has 29,506. It's a 2008 F-250 XLT 4X4. This is my first diesel and I'm really enjoying it. I read a lot about it before I bought one. I like this site too, I have learned quite a bit.

I would change the two fuel filters, the transmission fluid, & the oil & oil filter

It's not even due for a trans fluid changing yet is it? Fuel filters certainly wouldn't hurt and oil and oil filter is always a good idea.

Black smoke don't mean it's broke... it means your tuning sucks

The FORD MANUAL say transmission fluid change at every 30,000 miles

Cool, I appreciate it guys. That stuff was already on my mind. What are some other things to look at or change out? After I do a good overlook of it, that's when I'll start modding it. I was looking into DPF delete, EGR delete, intake, exhaust, and a tuner. What do you guys think?
