2008 powerstroke hazy white smoke
Hello
I have an 08 6.4 that I recently purchased. I have put over 500 miles on it in the past week since I have bought it. I got the truck home took it on a short drive to work then an hour later I was going to the store and hazy white smoke started dumping out the exhaust. It stopped after a few minutes. I took the truck to a diesel shop fearing it was a head gasket but the shop said they couldn't get it to smoke and it was a very clean truck. Now I have read that condensation can build in the intercooler piping on short trips then blow through the motor coming out the exhaust as white smoke. Didn't have the issue for a couple days of regular driving. Now this morning in my way to work regular driving I was at a stop light the truck started to smell kind of like a school bus and I took off form the light and hazy white smoke started coming out the exhaust again. I laid into the throttle a bit and the smoke stopped after about 20 seconds. There is no loss of power no rpm change or check engine lights that are on or come on. Anybody have any thoughts on what the intermittent smoke might be caused by?.
Thanks
Blake.
