OK I've read 100s of posts on the white some issue but here a little background on my truck.
2008 2wd Super cab F250 100,010 Miles
Came with the following mods:
DPF Delete (No runner in it when I purchased it)
Banks turbo back exhaust.
Since I got it I've done the following:
Sinister EGR Delete with Elbow
Sinister CAC Pipe
AFE Intake
About 200 Miles ago I changed Fuel filters and oil change (Mobile 1 full synthetic). I'm pretty sure its got a tune on it because it pretty entertaining, though i never drove a stock one prior.
Daily driven never haul with it.
Never have had an issue with the truck then about 3 days ago, I was driving on the interstate about a 45 min drive. During a merge I was a little heavy footed and got it up into the 30PSI range on boost, no issues drove it normal no issues but as soon as I got off the interstate and stopped at a light it started billowing white smoke like a SOB. It was so bad I though for sure I had blown the motor or lifter a head, just a gigantic cloud of smoke. Quickly got it off the road and hoped the hood with it still running and smoking. Coolant level was fine, no oil coolant any where under the hood. Sounded normal. Shut it off let it cool a few hours. Then went back out to open up the degas bottle and crank it up (testing the head gaskets) no smoke ran just fine sounded great, drove it to work and back yesterday about 45 miles no issues whatsoever, no smoke.
I’m assuming it had an injector hang. but its working normal now. No idea which injector or if it could be some thing else. Opinions and advice on what preemptive things I can do to keep it from happening again and this time causing damage. Is it time for new Injectors?
