I have a 2008 6.4 with 95K. Everything has been deleted and tuned with the mini max. I just got it back from the shop due to the exhaust manifold bolt breaking. A week later I wash and waxed my truck it sat in the garage for over a week and when I took it out this weekend I noticed white smoke coming out the exhaust when letting off going down the highway. This is enough smoke to white out the entire side of the highway. I have not lost any coolant, no loss of power, just changed oil 500 miles ago, the fuel is not old, just drained water separator. Any help ?

 

Check your CAC for water ; remove the bottom boot after you drive it and get it heated up. Ford has a TSB out for replacing CAC for this . I have the same problem instead of replacing the CAC a ford mechanic is going drill a small in the bottom of mine to allow the water to drain . That is going to happen in a few days i will report back how it does. Thanks
