Hi everybody! This is my first real post here. The forum keeps nagging me to post so here it is. I was just wondering what your average trans temps were in town or on the highway. The truck I'm posting on behalf of is a a job 1 2008 f350 with a Spartan Dashdaq. The truck is leveled on 35 inch open country tires I believe. Family bought the truck recently and I've tried 3 different tunes. The 210 tow (was on the truck when I bought it) the 250 late lock and right now on the 210 late lock. I was just wondering what your transmission temps were. On the 210 tune right now I'm seeing about 165 to 174 in town and between 168 and 172 on the highway running between 100 and 125km/h (60-75mph). Right now the outside temperature is around 0 to 10 degrees Celsius or 32 to 50 Fahrenheit. I think the transmission is running a couple degrees warmer in the 210 tune but I like the shifting better because when I would get on it in the 250 I would get some flare shifting and once in a while a rev bang (1 to 3 times a week) when I was going a certain slow speed and hit the pedal again to accelerate. Either way so far I love the truck and am glad to join the diesel bombing family! Sorry if there is a similar post already, I'm here to learn as much as I can and join the family

 

08 f350 h&s mini max and on the hot tune trans temps are right around 175* on hwy 150* intown
