What's a 250el?
TC lock up is just when the converter locks fully (think like a clutch pack) and your engine RPM is 1:1 with your trans input. So there is no slip at this point. It usually only happens once you're up to highway speeds and in your last gear for cruising. There are tunes available that can lock it up earlier and through tuning we can change at what speed it locks up. I know some of the single turbo guys have had to lock it up later (higher MPH) to stay on top of the turbo.

250 and up is a race tune.. its going to shift into final drive as fast as it can. they have a 250 tow also if i remeber right..
