Sad banks six gun grenade?

I have a 2006 and i am running the banks six gun with power pda. I took the unit off so the dealer wouldnt hassle me about it and when i reinstalled it i got a flashing 3-2 code. all it keeps telling me is that it can not communicate with the pcm. i was interested to see if anyone else hase run into this problem?

Sounds like the dealer installed a flash on your PCM which means your tuner will not work until it is flashed to your new PCM code...

Sad

They did reflash my PCM! So I tried the old press the brake 10 times reset and had no change. I took it to banks and they want to sell me a new tuner! I was pretty bummed!

Shouldn't make a difference on a banks unit, not like it's custom tuned to a specific strategy code or anything.

Sounds more like maybe the banks wasn't uninstalled correctly and just got flashed over?

Do you guys have any idea how to reset the six gun module so I can start from scratch again? Banks doesn't seem to want to do anything but sell me a new unit!

I do not. Not a lot of banks users around here unfortunately.

Considering that it costs $500 to replace the module it looks like I will have to buy a sct to replace it. It's to bad I really liked using the PDA for my gauges it was so clean and simple. Can anyone suggest the best place to buy a sct with a good street tune?

Get it direct from the tuner, since they'll throw the tunes in for free.

In no particular order some of the more common places:
Innovative Diesel
GoGo Diesel
Gearhead
Quick Trick Auto
