Muffler Delete Pipe Question
I removed my cat and now I want to do a muffler delete. Will it be to loud? Will my mpg drop? Will the bottom end power be gone because of the reduction of back pressure? Any help please I do not want to do something and get bad results. I work on my driveway and it is very cold!

As to the loud aspect, your turbo whistle will get a lot louder at idle. And at full throttle it sounds like pretty throaty. I have a 4" downpipe into 5" stacks, and I drive 25,000 a year with the only "mufflers" being my windows! I love the way it sounds.
Aa per mpg, I didnt notice a massive increase, but I sure didn't notice a decrease!

The most noticeable difference in turbo noise came from either my 5" stacks or my AFE stage II intake. The stacks really make my truck sing. Not to mention it sounds like a pissed off biker gang at full throttle!
If you really want loud..... I thought I heard something about a silencer ring in the turbo???

No one does a silencer ring deal on these, that's a dodge thing. No muffler and no cat will result in a vacuum cleaner type sound at idle (more like a jet, but you get the idea). Cruising around is about normal like stock, but stomp on it and it will SCREAM. If you have side exit exhaust it's great. If you have stacks, it will be very loud inside the truck too, so towing with stacks can get obnoxious sometimes. I tow a 2 place sled trailer with sleds on it and I can't talk to anyone in the passenger seat. Once up to cruising speeds it's like stock though. Really cool.
