Check your map sensor first. Make sure the hose is still connected on either end and no rips.
Also make sure you didn't loose a boot.

The map sensor is mounted to the cab over by the heater and a/c box. It is a block sensor with a hose and connector coming off of it. The hose goes to the passenger side of the intake manifold.

I had a low boost code show up on mine, I think that if you happen to lug the engine down, then put your foot into it, the turbo can't spool up fast enough to catch up to the engine demand. the map sensor see's that and will throw a code, IF you do this several times. where you towing or just driving. I live in the mountains and some times when I go to pass someone I have to make sure my rpm is at least 2k or higher other wise it will throw the code. but not always light the MIL. because I have a way to read codes now every once in awhile I put my computer on the truck just to see whats up and low and behold there it is. i think it's a p0701 low turbo boost. I've cleaned my turbo it wasn't real bad but it still does it???? maybe I have a weak map sensor.

Yes the name is Josh.
utting around is not the best for it by anymeans. But the EGR and he oil breather are the worst for it. Once those are gone you'll be good to go once the turbo is cleaned and possibly a new vgt solenoid.
