You drive a Dodge. You don't have the option of custom tuning like we do with the SCT. I'm not going to say anymore because I've answered all I can about it in other threads, and we can leave this for the Edge users. I'm interested to see how much of a response you will actually get from Ford 6.0 drivers with an Edge setup. I believe Luke @ Diesel Dawgs already told him to get an SCT as well.

There is nothing nice about shift on the fly tuning for the 6.0, since in order to properly tune the transmission, you need to shut the truck off and do a full program. If you were driving around on a small tune on the H&S, and then cranked it up, the transmission would still be set on the smaller tune settings. Does H&S offer custom tuning for the 6.0? OR does any vendor who sells the H&S? Doesn't seem like there is a big following of tuners with the H&S for the 6.0.

The H&S just came out not to long ago. I happened to have one and put in on a truck yestarday to get rid of the Edge that was on the truck. The truck was a '06 and it ran great. I usualy recomend the SCT but this is another alteritive.
You've seen me agree with you before on the SCT. Just had to try one and it works great.

Yes I'm just trying to learn more about the H&S myself. I've seen a few of the tuners who are big with the 6.4's starting to look into 6.0 stuff with the H&S, but I guess I just dont understand the following for custom tuning, as in, if it's even available, or what its capabilities are.
The phalanx was supposed to be another one of those great tuners for the 6.0, and you can still buy one for it, but who are you going to have write you tunes? The phalanx even had the option to tune the FICM through the OBD port, meaning you didn't have to remove your FICM, send it out, and reinstall it. Spartan was supposedly working on it, but that was in the midst of the 6.4 tuning wars, so you can see where that leaves us 6.0 guys. Plus it was over $1000. If you already had gauges, or already had an SCT or both, why bother?
As far as how good the H&S is, I can't comment since they're so new, but I will say I don't think shift on the fly is a welcomed feature for the 6.0.

That will make a big difference. Problem is, SCT pretty much has this market on lockdown already, which means a lot of companies are more concerned with all the new trucks coming out. H&S seems to be on top of their game though. They were the first ones to tune the 6.7 Dodge, and they're at the top of the list for the 6.7 Ford's too.
Broncbuster, sorry for clouding up your thread man.
