Default '05 Ford Excursion Limited

On my front hubs, it says Lock & Auto (no Free) Does the Auto mean the Hubs should Auto lock when 4x4 is applied? The only way I can get into 4 wheel is to Lock the hubs and the Auto seems to be the free spin, Just curious!

Yes.....they should auto lock when you flip the switch and are set on auto........you likely have a vacuum leak.

if you have a wheel bering out it will break the seal and also create a vacuum leak
