hey i herd that the 03 turbos are louder then the newer year ones, im just wondering, im about to pick up a 03, 6.0 this weekend and i plan on straight piping it before the weekends over and doing sct tunes on it.

the only reason im asking is because im not fimilier with the 6.0s only the 7.3s, i was going to buy a cummins but decieded against it for the 6.0

2001 24V cummins, 6 inch aussie cut stack for side exit, edge with smarty stack on the way, and built tranny.

I would say do the Muffler delete and kitty delete that is th 1st thing i did to mine and you will turn alot of heads with the crazy turbo whistle!

i have an 03 and ite stright pipe all the way! but mine has the stock tubeing so it makes a crazy high pitch wistle! always turning heads and people asking questions about the turbo!

I have a 4 inch turbo back dumped out before my rear tire. Its real load and hiss' alot. Wish I would have done duals out the back

I have the same seyup as shouldhavebeenadodge, and it is a real attention getter. The guys I work with call it a retarded kazoo at idle, but wot sounds like a F-14

Did you get a new pedistal with the 03 turbo? Its not going to fit on 04.5+ trucks without the pedistal.
