Last week got a CEL for egr and icp sensor. Noticed a longer start time then usual. Did not replace the ICP at the time. Cleared codes, did KOEO self test and got 2285 again. Assumed bad ICP sensor Drove for a week. A few times in the morning it would start then stall. Today I get in the truck to go pick some parts up, get one mile down the street and it died. Now has crank but no start. I checked codes again and I got 2285, 403 (egr) and now p0336 crank sensor. I think the 0336 was because it stalled while driving. I replaced the ICP but still no start. Did another KOEO self test and came up with a code for the boost sensor on the turbo I think was either 237 or 0046 don't remember????????? Then while I was cranking the truck another code triggered and was p2291 for icp pressure to low while cranking. Batteries were weak by this time. PLEASE HELP ME
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- checked today. I have a reference from the crank sensor. I have just over 300 psi inj. pressure. Not enough!!!!! Need to know what direction to go next. Last edited by springhillracer; 12-09-2009 at 03:30 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I replaced the IPR and it brought my pressure up to 420+-. Its not consistant though. While cranking it will jump from 0 to 400 then down to 250 or so. Does not increase or hold. It fies down. I was going to remove the ICP sensor and put some air to it and listen for leaks or does it sound like a bad HPOP. I had a Ford Tech come over and check it out and he said it may be a bad pump but he doesn't see them go bad that often. Just the newer style? Sound right?
