I cut the scoop out and blocked off the egr and now my egts spike alot faster than before. anyone experince this before? -

How does the turbo spool compared to before? -

It spools up faster and pulls harder right off the bottom but it seems to have lost 3 to 4 pounds, it hits my defuel point 1350 at about 55mph and it never use to get that hot until 70 to 75 -

I know im statin the obvious, but have you checked for leaks? The vains on your turbo could be stuck. -
