So i may be buyin a 2007 f-250 from this girl i met for 700 bucks. it's only got about 500 miles on it so it's basically brand new. along with a lift, tires, some performance stuff(not sure what) But she is sellin it to ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

New truck
So i may be buyin a 2007 f-250 from this girl i met for 700 bucks. it's only got about 500 miles on it so it's basically brand new. along with a lift, tires, some performance stuff(not sure what) But she is sellin it to me so cheap cause she wants to get rid of it. It was her husbands truck and he died in Iraq 2 weeks before he was supposed to come home. She has an escalade, this F-250, 2 mustangs, 2 Ninja Bikes, and an escalade ext. She wants to sell everything but the bikes and EXT. I've asked her a million times if she really wants to sell the truck to me for $700. and she said she is positive.
but i have heard that this model breaks alot...and even though it looks nice and is pretty new i don't want a truck that will break on me all the time. what are the chances of soemthin going wrong?

oh i mean i'm gonna buy it.
 . and i'm think about sellin it to a dealership. which is what i told her to do. but she said she'd gimme for 700 bucks. so to be it's just mo money for my truck.but here are 2 pictures she sent me of it.

I am no Ford expert but I do not think that is an 07. I thought the Powerstroke logo was different.

yeah i'm not sure either. i dont think she was completely sure about it. but i'm gonna find out.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- yeah but my dad said he isn't going to pay that. he said he isn't going to take advantage of her and buy it for 700 bucks. so he said he'd give her 10k for it. I agree with NO PROBLEM. The badge on the door looks like the 99-03 badge. However even if it is an 07 most of the 6.0 problems were cleared up by then. Like every one else has said. It don't matter if the engine blows up 2 blocks away from her house. buy it.

Well the badge is definately off an 04 or older model, but as for the truck breaking alot I have an 05 and the only problem I have had with it is the EGR, but nothing else at all
If its legit I'd say definately go for it.

 . Just don't be pissed if you call her next week and she says some guy named NO Problem Aaron flew out here and drove it home.No worries though, I will post plenty of pictures of it.  In fact I may post the wheels and tires for sell when I update them. Those wheels were popular in 2002-2003 so I am thinking it is an 02 based on that and the black badge on the door, I think it says "Powerstroke v8". I think the fx4 came out in 03-04 and that one says "4x4" but I am thinking that there were still 4x4 and fx4's. Who knows for sure but 500 miles on anything for $700.00 is a bargain even if she meant the tires only had 500 miles on them. Last edited by No Problem; 12-01-2008 at 06:17 PM..

The Badge is from a 7.3L and I believe they only offered the FX4 package starting in 03. They changed to the 6.0 in 03.5 so that would make that truck a 03 7.3L.
