I would bet you have stiction issues without more info. There is plenty to read on forums about stiction. I would recommend trying a quart of Hot Shot Secret. I know people will have good and bad to say but it's $50 at tractor supply and if it solves your problem it was easiest fix and best $50 you ever spent! If not you will still have cleaner engine and injectors. You can spend thousands if you want to toss injectors and other parts at it!

I'll give it a shot i cleaned the egr when i changed the oil it didn't look that bad fairly well clean lil bit of black gunk built up. You think that stuff see will help with the fuel milage

I know it helps clean spool valves in injectors, but it doesn't fix bad or broken parts. It's a good way to get going in right direction as the buildup is cleaned out without pulling injectors.

Archoil is cheaper and as good as rev-x. But hot shots is more convient being as you can get at tractor supply its good stuff just takes more miles to work than rev-x and archoil

The big difference between archoil and rev-x versus hot shot is hot shot is more of a cleaner. Archoil and rev-x are a super slippery lubricant to prevent stiction in the first place. The cleaner is used to get you back to properly functioning, freely moving injectors. Clean then protect. I recently changed out my HPOP due to wearing out to point it couldn't build pressure over 1800 psi. ( dieselsite pump is too nice to cover up but I love it!)I put 15-40 oil in since I had it and wanted to change after a few thousand miles to clean anything that may have fallen inside. It got cold here( lows single digits) and truck was starting hard. Put in delo 400 5-40 synthetic and wow! Point is oil makes a big difference, and additives can help keep your truck running at its best!

The other day i changed the oil and cleaned the egr and put in some hot shot that seamed to help a lil truck don't have the spudder no more but the fuel milage still sucks i was getting 10.2 pulling a trailer and a 5000lbs fuel milage is at 8.4 at best goes up a lil on the hwy not much thoe if i use one of thoes other additives think it will get my mpg back up again
