Default More issues from hell 2005 F350

Earlier thread;

Where to start. Glow plugs were changed, problem of cold start and no compression until it warms up persist. Now a entirely new issue from hell. Driving the other day, truck just quit while driving. Engine died. Still had battery power, lights on, radio etc. Once I got pulled off to the side, it would not start. It acts like it is not getting fuel. Turns over good. Battery, starter and alternator are good. It's throwing a P2285 code (ICP??). I think this is behind my understanding to repair. It's sitting at dealership. And I think they want to bend me over. I brought up the P2285 code and suggested the cheaper route of just replacing the sensor. They want to pressure test (3 different pressure tests to be exact) and look at the high pressure oil pump. Thousands of dollars of labor from what I can estimate.

Is there anything I can do myself or insist they do first before we go this route? I mean the cold hard start issue was a pain in the ***, but at least before dealership changed the glow plugs, once started, it ran trouble free.

Need answers / suggestions fast

Well. It's at the dealership. They are now saying IPR needs replaced and the IPC is alright. I get the feeling they are just "throwing parts" at it. And I still find it interesting that it was operating fine, save for the cold starts) until they changed the glow plugs. I'm not mechanically inclined, so I can't draw a line to the problem now and glow plugs being changed. However, I do not believe in coincidence.
