Hey. I just bought illuminated door sills for the front and rear doors of my truck, but I am having trouble installing them. I bought them from Recon but they didn't come with instructions. I am supposed to have them wired into the dome light so they turn on when the door is open and off when it is closed.
I have no idea what wire to use to connect the positive end, and I have no idea what wire to connect the negative end to. On the Recon website it has incredibly vague instructions and it basically says connect the positive end and ground the negative.
I pulled down the dome light to see what wires were running to it, and I found three wires. and black with blue stripe, yellow with green stripe (or other way around), and a black wire). Does anyone know which one is positive and which is negative?
