Ford 6.0 won't run
Hey guys I'm new to this site and have quite the project on my hands. Recently I purchased a 2006 extended cab long bed 4x4 lariat 6.0 at an auction for 1800! The bad news it was a DNR but with a flatbed and near new tires I figured I couldnt go wrong at that price and drug it home. After installing new batteries I found the odometer reads 93k
The problem I found is when I crank it over it smokes like a freight train, but acts as if it wants to fire but can't quite fire. Popped the oil filler cap and cranked it over to discover tons of blow by. I also discovered upon taking the intake apart in search of the oil leak around the turbo that the turbo was hard to spin. Would the turbo cause me these problems? Help what are my next actions!! Advice much appreciated
Thanks, wyatt

blow by while cranking. big holes in pistons.
the truck needs plugged into a labtop and many perameters looked at. diagnosing one of these isnt quite as simple as earlier models. give us the codes. buzz the injectors. if it starts whats the power balance. IPR %, HPOP readings. you need 700+ to start. no the turbo wont make it not start. it can throw things in a limp when its running but wont keep it from starting. if all this fails do a compression test, which is wear i lean due to your comment about blow by.
