Default im about to throw my 6.0 out into the street

so first post and i hate its a help me thread. ive been hovering here for a while and its a great site. but onto this damn truck. so its a 07 6.0. the fun stuff, ive done h/g with arps, oem hg ect. upgraded oil cooler, coolant filter, egr delete, and a muffler delete. running a edge cts. other then that she is bone stock. ive also done a new ficm backshell.

the issue,
lack of power, boost comes on but im not getting the power i should be with say 20 psi of boost. i have no codes, no coolant blowby or a tiny bit while towing when its hot out with ac on. (florida heat) ive cleaned out the ebp tube and sensor. pulled y pipe and checked for possible exhaust leaks. checked boots and they looked good. i have to pull my 13k lb trailer in 2 weeks and i dont want to pull it on a motor with a possible issue. im lost right now of where to go. if you guys need numbers i can get them from my edge. just tell me what you guys need

btw im getting more black smoke then usual, no white, gray or blue. just black which should be eccesive fuel. which makes sense if the motor is getting less boost then it thinks it is. vgt turbos suck.

Can you get boost pressures and injection pressure desired vs actual? You need 500+ psi to start and should rise as needed. I have problem where I'm getting 30 psi boost but no power . Turns out HPOP wore out, not building necessary pressure as needed.

On your 07 you may have leaking branch tubes or other issue, related to high pressure oil

hmmmm, well i just replaced the branch tubes with the ones that came in the oem headgasket kit. brand new o rings and such with new tubes. what should i watch for as far as pressure. whats the acronym and what would be considered low and such at idle or while driving? it seems that hpops go out shortly after h/g replacement. dont know it its coicidence or something that is more

You listed branch tubes, but not STC fitting. If the STC fitting is leaking, this might be the issue. Also should consider replacing the IPR. I had a no start hot and fixed the STC fitting and stand pipes and dummy plugs at the same time...problem gone 35,000 miles and counting.
Google luck.

not sure if this helps any....i had an issue of excessive boost but didnt feel like i was getting the power. figured it was the vanes sticking on the vgt so we popped it open to clean them. turned out that 3 of the studs the vanes pivot on had broke off and the turbo wasnt working properly. i hope this isnt the issue as it required a new turbo for me. used it as an excuse to get the powermaxx though ! good luck!
