I have an 06 F350 Dually that I will use to tow a 13K LB 5th wheel. I would like a little more power and better MPG. I have heard suggestions on all brands of programmers and they all seem to claim the same benefits.
I would appreciate any feed back.
It has 85K on it and is stock. I do plan to bullet proof it.

 

SCT with custom tuning from Gearhead or Innovative diesel would be the only thing I would ever run on a 6.0l the DP tuner you may be able to run custom tunes with but edge or bully dog or diablo will mess your engine up blow head gaskets exc... To much Timing added and what not SCT with custom tunes IMO is the only way to go

 

Edge, Bully dog, banks, diablo, TS mp8, superchip, hypertech, quadzilla, afe, are all fatal to your head gaskets and usually aren't to good for injectors ether, I do know SCT for sure you can custom tune with the X3 X4 or SF3 or Livewire I would honestly go to Innovative diesel and order an SCT from them with there custom tuning package they will send you tunes when you get the programmer and retrieve your stock strategy they will build and email your tunes to you works great I ran there tunes gearheads GO-GOs, GOS, Elite diesel, River city diesel tunes and I was impressed with them all all great in there own ways probobly a fan of GearHeads the most
