Where are you located?? first test is to pull the oil filter cap then hold the little plunger down at bottom of housing then have someone crank it over to see if the oil pump is pumping oil, you can use a screwdriver or even the filter to hold the little black plunger down. this is the drain back plunger so when you pull the oil filter you don't have a mess. Test the FICM, it is located under the coolant bottle on drivers side, there is a test procedure in the "STICKY" section of the 6.0 section.
Pull the top fuel filter cap and have someone turn key to run position to see if the fuel pump is pumping fuel.
You are right, you can't pass up a deal like that.

ok i went out and checked the oil filter it was good. i checked fuel filter had barely any fuel there so i traced the lines and found the fuel tank selector (it has the optional front tank) and the filter cap wasn't even tight so i took it out and filter looked new so i put it back to geather and cycled key on ff few times till i seen fuel in filter on motor. cranked it over still dint start used a lil starting fluid busted rite off and sounds good. just wont idle. i kept it up between 1000rpm an 1500rpm for 30 min. thought maybe air in system but it still dyes if it gets down to 900rpm. what dose this sound like to those of yall that know the 6.0
