Default 05 won't start

Blue spring upgrade , swamps diesel ficm (2yrs ago), egr delete, new oil cooler, rebuilt turbo, stc upgrade, new ipr valve, new icp sensor. Was coding icp sensor low voltage. Now no codes and no start. Oil level good. Cranks, no smoke. Getting fuel. Don't have a way of checking ficm voltage just yet. Getting one this afternoon. So does it sound like ficm or bad hpop? I was driving along and it just died. Hasn't started since. I'll test ficm, but is there a way to test for bad hpop? Can't get it running so pressure test is out. Everyday driver that pulls a trailer occasionally. I'm at wits end, not that I had that many. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I've been reading all I can here. I came across a post that said to check ipr valve screen. When I replaced it, it was dented in with a pen hole but clean as a whistle. So was that supposed to be my clue that it's the hpop? Charging batteries, ran down trying to start. Charger showing 13.6 volts on both batteries. Have tester to check ficm after they're charged. Again, any help would be great.

Ficm tested 48, 48. So before I take it apart again, would someone else agree it's the hpop? Don't want to spend another chunk of change if that's not it.

try unplugging the ICP sensor, if the sensor is bad it could keep it from starting and by unplugging it it goes into a safe mode and lies to the computer telling it that there is about 2000psi of pressure.
before you check the high pressure make sure you have low pressure oil first because if you don't have low pressure oil to feed the HPOP you will have the same symptoms.
pull the oil filter cap off and then hold down the plunger valve down in the bottom of the housing and have someone crank it over to see if it fills with oil, if it does then a bad HPOP is possible, if it doesn't then either the engine oil pump is toast of the regulator is hung up, the oil pressure regulator is right behind and above the oil pump housing behind the harmonic balancer.

Replaced icp sensor. Tried starting without it plug in. No start. I'll check the lpop. Really appreciate it. Pulling hair out I don't have!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Started without new icp sensor plugged in. Starts with second new icp sensor. For a 160$ they should check them. Caused me a lot frustration. And next I'll be getting a scan gauge ii. Actron just doesn't do it for these trucks.

How fast does it crank over?

If it doesn't crank fast enough, it may just be your batteries are weak.

We had a cold snap Thursday...went to start my vehicle Friday and no go...just cranked over 1 rev and then click, click, click.
Turns out my batteries were bad after less than 3 years. Got them replaced for free though by AutoZone.

If you charge them up first and then take them in and have them load tested, they can tell you whether they are good or not.

Just trying to help you cover all the bases.

Good luck.

I thought about that. It got cold here Wednesday. And when I checked ficm Yesterday I didn't have them crank it very long. But I made sure batteries were good. Batteries 1 year old. Ficm rebuilt or whatever they do 2 years. Maybe didn't check batteries after new sensor. And maybe, maybe owe parts guy apology. Wasn't that bad to him. But feel like a jackass. First thing first. Have enough juice. After that freak out and beg for help!

Cool, glad it was somewhat simple.

It was. Getting a box of chocolates while I type. Thanks. Sometimes simple is too simple. Newbie on forum, not so much on truck. But it wins sometimes!
