Default Oil dipstick

The handle on my oil dipstick broke off. My dumb butt just made it worse by trying to get it out. I don't have a whole lot of time to mess with it until the weekend. Will I do damage to my truck if I drive it? 06 F250 6.0L. Thanks for any advice.

If the handle part just came off then you are fine, might want to go to a hardware store or even a hobby shop and get a pair of "surgical" clamps,

I had the same problem a long time ago. I used a long needle nose vise-grip to pull out the dipstick.

you should be fine, they are designed to miss everything. I would want to get it out asap though. because it can cause problems
