The most common leak is the Ypipe to turbo connection, it is a pain to get it lined up right without loosening the uppipes.

was the y pipe. it was a pain in the butt. mainly because i did it my self. had to loosen the turbo and use a couple of pry bars but after an hr and half, got it to line up. def a 2 person job, because you need atleast 3 hands in there... thank you

My first EGR delete took me over 12 hours to do, and by the time I was done I was SHOT. Started the truck up and the damn thing had an exhaust leak right at the y-pipe to turbo connection. I was so frustrated I just left it. I probably drove it for a month like that. Finally one day I decided it needed to be addressed. I kicked myself after because it took me all of 30 minutes to get everything seated nice and tight by doing it the RIGHT way
.... went for a whole month and it took me hardly any time at all to fix it.
