Are they still making the Excursion. I heard they dropped it because of poor mileage and sales. I may be way off though??? -

Whoever does has a huge garage. They are at least 19 feet long if not longer. -

Moms got one with the 7.3. Id say 19 is right on the length. Ive got here buy a few feet. Seems to be a good truck - wish my fuel filter was as easy to change as hers. -

I would kill for a diesel Excursion....I bought a Suburban as a possible project truck, but its a gasser! Thinking about an early 24v transplant...and a lift, and wheels, and Tires, and Paint, and the list goes on....... -

They made them from 99 thru about 04 or 05. I know it was shortly after the 6.0s came out they got the axe. -

The wife has one. Its awesome. Its an 02 with the only good ford diesel. The 7.3L. On the highway it gets about 22 MPG. She had a minivan and I told her it needed a diesel. She said if i wanted her to drive a diesel, i should get her an excursion. So we found one and that was that.

05 was the last year of production for the excursion. It sucks, but with the engine dilemma ford has it was probably for the better.
