Default new with diesel trucks 7.3l idi non turbo

as the tittle says,
im new in the diesel world, at least with a pick up truck, i work on a small freight company with only 2 diesel truck's.
The truck is a 1993 Ford F350 7.3l idi non turbo
around 303k mi ZF5 tranny and 4X4
i bought it about a month ago, the plans are to make it my DD and towing around 6,000 lbs some weekends
i have some sort of mechanic skills but have support from 2 gas mechanic's, so i think is not a big difference from gas to this old diesel engine.
We already rebuild the transmission, change the rear main seal, oil pressure sensor, brakes service, remplace 2 rear leaf springs, new fluids on tranny and tranfercase, straight pipe and thats it for now
the last owner did the oil change but planning to change it sooner or later, its running on antifreeze with the ACF.
The truck run's pretty decent but i would like to put a turbo in it,
any suggestions about what else can i do to get more juice from the engine?

I've been doing some reading about the difference HP between an non turbo vs a turbo 7.3 and the stock factory turbo on;y adds 5 HP, take it from 185 HP to 190 HP. It does add a little more torque but not enough to add that much money into the truck. Now I'm not sure about after market turbos, but my ex builds engines all the time (owns a racing business) and he says the cost of after market has gone though the roof lately. I've been building race (gas) engines for 40 years but not diesels. If I want a turbo diesel I'll buy a powerstroke next time. I just got an 89 F250 7.3 IDI to tow my 27' Shasta with and I know that I have alot to learn about it. If you do find a turbo for your truck that doesn't break the bank please post it.
