Body lift instead of a leveling kit?
I hate the idea of body lift, I have seen some hideous rigs that use about 6 inches... I don't want to do anything like that, but I want a leveling kit on my 1990 f250, and it has a ttb axle, and leaf springs. I can't find anything at all. I hate my front suspension. "Lets put that ifs under leaf springs haha that'll **** someone off" Was probably how they thought it up. I am doing a flat bed, so I was thinking I could put 2 inches under the cab, and it would give the same effect as a leveling kit, without the steering getting messed up. My dad told me it would be hard on the body mounts, but how bad would it really be? I am not going to beat on it (at least until I get a better job and a solid axle) I would think it is a better option than a leveling kit, just because I can load it up, without worrying about the thing going nose up. Not to mention I could do it for about 100 bucks.
Any thoughts?

i did a 3" lift on mine. only because i had to due to the circumstances. i don't know about a 2" but the 3 took alot of ... inovation. like the guy before me said body lifts are hard on the mounts so inturn i used poly body mounts. so you really can't tell a difference in the ride, if anything it's better. and it does'nt look bad at all, other than the gawdy gaps under the bed. but i also have leveling springs so that makes a differance too.
