Description:
Slow grilled Chicken
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
3 hours
Difficulty:
Easy
Serving Size:
As many as you want
Beer in Can
EVOO

Ifin anybody wants to give Ricks rub a shot, shoot him a e-mail as I'm sure he would be happy to oblige.

Preparation:
Clean chicken & pat dry inside and outside
Sprinkle Ricks real pit rub inside the chicken coating the inside nicely.
Sprinkle on more rub under the chickens skin
Rub skin with EVOO and then apply even more Rub to the skin coating nicely
Open Beer, drink 1/3 of it and put lemon and other spices in the beer.
Insert beer in chickens butt
Plug neck opening with tater or something else
Grill around 300-325 for 3 hours
Instructions:
On the grill

1/2 way done


No pictures of it after cooking, was starving and running out the door to work.

I've also used Country Time Lemonade, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Coke and root beer as well. Tasty treats those little yard birds are. -

That looks great...nummy...! I seen a baked mac and cheese done with a recipe like this. On the BBQ.. be a good compliment to that beer bum chicken,, -

Was making meatloaf tonight and had to reach past the rub for some spices, so instead the rub ended up in the meatloaf.

Yea, I've been cooking those perverted chickens for years. Yummy yummy yummy for the tummy tummy tummy. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. But you gotta let them rest for 15-20 min. before you cut them up, else all the juices will run out.

Oh, BTW, use a can NOT a bottle. -
