2004 7x16 United white enclosed cargo trailer. It has only been used to haul furniture and is in like new condition. It has very few miles on it and sat inside for four years without being used. Double back doors, side door, electric brakes, lights and interior light.

Newbie: Bed Length - Towing a GN with a 2500 - short bed or long bed?

Hely folks I own a small vintage car restoration/ dealership in San Francisco and am going to buy a truck( either Dodge 06+ or a Chevy/gmc 06+) 2500 or 3500 single rear wheel. There are several for sale but some are short beds. Is there a problem towing a gooseneck trailer with a shortbed?

The trailer will be a two car hauler but many times I will only have one car loaded. I will primarily be running up and down from LA to SF as well as locally. Not getting a dually because I will be using the truck around town and parking this thing in my warehouse also.

Thanks in advance

Well, it's harvest season here and we just found out one of the local farmers has colon cancer and is scheduled for surgery this weekend. My Dad, brother and myself have been spending the last few days trying to get his soybeans combined and drug in before the weather takes a big dump on us again. Since I'm the only one who has a diesel truck, I got "volunteered" to drag the grain trailer back and forth from the farm to the elevator in town. Have made about a dozen trips so far, with 329 bushel (at 60 pounds per bushel) being the biggest load. The attached weigh slip isn't that particular load, but it represents a good average. Anyone else up around that?

Prevent Overheating???

I work for a car transport company and we haul three cars at a time with 50 + foot trailers. We only run 12 valves and our trucks are all stock minus exhaust. Had a truck that had 230 horse injectors and an upgraded radiator. ended up blowing the motor because it over heated too many times. We haul from St. George, Ut where its a 100 degrees plus 85% of the year to L.A. and southern Cal where its not much better. Trying to find a way to get more power without chancing motor failure. Just looking for some tips to possibly keep our trucks cool because we have some pretty steep climbs along the way and tired of going 35-40 mph up these obstacles.
