AMSOIL may do a diesel oil comparative study???

Here is a thread on another forum by a dealer in my group. Thought you might be interested. If you have any input as to a choice, just respond here and I'll be sure to tally the votes and get them submitted if this does come to light. You can select more than one.
Heath

Ok, the thing is this, I have heard "Rumors" that AMSOIL is considering performing Diesel Oil Comparison testing. Now, before I go any further let me say that ALL of AMSOIL's testing results that are used in advertising and marketing are the results of independent labs. They do not use their own test reports to promote products.

But here is the thing, My Dealer Group, "Synthetic Motorsports" are posting polls to find out first who would like to see the testing performed, and second what oil brands would the majority of people in the industry would like to see tested.

Now, let me say this, AMSOIL has a stance that when they do major testing like this, it is usually done to compare AMSOIL against other readily available well known national brands like Mobile 1, Valvoline, Havoline, Pennzoil, etc. They are not in the habit of testing against lessor known oils like Shaeffers.

BUT, maybe if we can get enough noise stirred up about what the consumers out here in the Diesel Performance world would like to see, maybe we can sway the choices to our favor.

"The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Grease" So let's all put aside the, ,y oil is better than your oil BS for a little while to strive for a common goal.

Now, if you would like your name added to this petition for verification of your wishes to see this, please add your first and last name and the oil of your choice that you would like to see in the comparison.

Thanks for your attention!!!
