The recall only affects 350s with rear-wheel drive; the all-wheel version of the 350 F Sport is not included. According to Lexus, the recall stems from a flaw in the vehicle's variable gear ratio steering, or VGRS. In some instances the electronic control unit (ECU) associated...

I recently purchased and installed an adjustable boost elbow, and I honestly dont feel any kind of difference in boost, and if there is, I beleive its lower than it was with the stock fitting. Im not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that I had to snake the hose around to get onto the elbow, because the stock fitting on the AFC sticks straight out, and the aftermarket elbow makes a 90* turn, and it may be leaking or something. I tightened all my clamps down best I could, because the stock hose was just a "little" big for the elbow. Ive never messed with boost and all that goodness, so I wasnt sure if the elbow was supposed to make that big of a difference or not, but from what I understan it should and mine didnt, lol, so if someone with a little more experience could chime in and help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok, time to quiz all the experts out there. I have a dodge d50(Mitsubishi mighty max) with no motor and i was given a 3 cylinder cummins 3a1.7 for free that runs amazing. I already know that there are much better motor choices out there for a swap like this but it was all free and there is no going back now. I consider myself to be fairly mechanically inclined but I am new to diesels for the most part. Looking for a few pointers....

This motor has a stanadyne pump and is I believe governed to 1800 rpm. Being a 1.7 liter im sure that it could turn higher and still be safe. Could anyone confirm that, and also can this pump be modded to push a bit more diesel and can I adjust the governor? A turbo is in the future. Any suggestions on turbo choice? Any insight would be great I hate going into a big swap like this without doing the research.

Thanks,

So I was at the charity dyno event yesterday in Spokane, Wa (it was the first one I've been to, and a lot of fun). I did however run into some problems when I got my truck on the dyno. I have an '01 Dodge 2500, auto, with intake exhaust and juice w/attitude tuner. The truck chugs out black when on setting number 5 normally but when I got strapped onto the dyno it threw up 272 hp and just over 600 lb feet of torque with no smoke at all. I got of the dyno and took it on a side street, punched it and rolled some coal. They let me go back on after everyone was done and I ran into the same problem. I'm gonna get a hold of edge tomorrow and pick their brains but if someone has any ideas I'd appreciate any help!:argh:

Ok, I was working on a guys truck and its an 06 3500 with a 24valve cummins. And pulled codes and it shows to have injector group B circuit open. The truck runs, but only on cylinders 1,2,&3. Pulled valve cover and harness checked voltage and ohms on every injector and harness. While running it will surge on I get voltage on injectors 4,5,6. I'm thinking the ecm is fried. Any suggestions?

I figured this was the best place for it. The fan will pull heat from the cooler and the air from the front will push the heat back. i drove for an hour straight for the first day relocating it and it was like it was never even ran, the pmd was that cool. Your probably thinking, what about rain, rain did nothing to it, plug stayed dry inside. Just want some opinions.

Hey guys. I thought id join up here to ask a question about the garrett turbo on the 7.3L . Over the weekend a friend and myself installed a set of glowshift gauges on my 01. We had to drill into the exhaust manifold to install the probe. Well with my luck, the smallest piece of the dewalt bit broke off. We looked and looked even probed around inside with a magnet. No luck. right away when i left his place i could tell something wasnt right with the turbo. The truck still has power but does not seem to have the suction that it did in the intake and the turbo is alot louder in the cab. Also sounds very chattery outside and not a solid whine. what would be the next step to take from here? I think I'm gonna have to yank it.
