making battery cables
hi everybody after twisting a bat cable clamp apart do to corrosion i need a new neg cable for passenger side and others arent far behind and after paying $180 for a positive cable through dodge last summer im really looking to keep it cheap and ive helped build cables for farm trucks around the ranch any ways i was hoping someone has some info about where to get rolls of cable and what gauge of cable i need and the connectors for the ends of the cables i intend on sodering the ends as i do not have a crimper any who all info would be great thanks you for reading

thank you i have found a website that i can get those i was looking at those as well this is the website that found that sells all the supplies now i just need to find out what gauge cable i need and what type of terminals im thinking about using brass terminals heres the website Automotive Wire Terminals - Battery Cable & Electrical Supplies

Heavy Duty, Aftermarket, Custom Battery Cables for your Car, Truck or RV for custom made cables or parts (and great advice too). If you look there they also have the correct length of cables listed.
Use 2/0 welding cable. I would strongly suggest crimping instead of soldering. I did a couple of solder joints and didnt like the results. You dont have to buy a crimper you can rent them for a day.
