i had taken my truck to the dealership a few years ago(when i still had a warranty) for a tapping sound in the motor. the mechanic said it was a bad injector. my truck has around 200,000 miles and as far as i know has never had a valve adjustment. could that be the source of the tapping? or could it be time to rebuild my injectors?

i would try the valve adjustment first.... or the timing could be off.. then if that doesnt work go with the injectors
