I need a suggestion for a restoration shop in Oregon or Nevada
Some of you may recall my build thread on my 1939 Dodge 1.5 Ton truck. At this point I need to find a shop that can get it driveable for me, I relocated to Las Vegas Nevada and no longer have my shop to work in. The truck is still in Oregon but I can bring it to Nevada if there is a better shop here.
There is still a fair amount of custom parts that need to be fabricated so I am looking for a good shop that has the ability to fabricate and be creative. The engine is mounted (but may need to be moved up), the transmission needs to be mounted, driveshaft built, front suspension designed (parallel 4-link), steering designed and installed (hydro assist) Rear suspension need to be completed. Everything is being designed and built to handle 19,000lbs at the rear and over 10,000lbs at the front.
There are obviously more elements to this project, just trying give a rough idea of where it is at this point.
If you know a good shop in Oregon or Nevada that can take on a build like this please let me know. Time is not really an issue if they are backed up, but I need to get the truck to a shop soon. I sold the place the truck has been stored in.
THANKS!
When I purchased it
Engine with one of the compound turbos
Rear link mock up, you can see the front airbag mount there are 4 total in the rear.
