Default looking at upgrading turbo

hi i have a 02 2500 dodge and am looking at upgrading the turbo to a bd super b cause my bearing went out on my hy35.
couple questions about doing it .

1- i want to run about 40psi if i can, do i need to upgrade intercooler boots or can i get away with just replacing the clamps? where can i get just the clamps?
2- do i need a boost fooler? my truck is completely stock just a superchips handheld programmer. i do have a quadzilla boost fooler i bought but it puts truck into limp mode when connected. i read i might have to clean connectors on the truck.

Your going to need some fueling upgrades to get a good 40psi. I would start with some 100hp-150hp injectors and an aftermarket lift pump such as a FASS.

I have air dog pump already. Right now I only hit 28psi. Can I get by with adjusting the waste gate or do I need a fooler to get more boost?

Is the waste gate arm hitting the oil return line check when it actuates? check that first for range of movement.

Luke is right also if you want more boost you will need to add fuel via bigger shower heads. More air can only be achieved by increasing the exhaust pressure which increases the speed of the turbo.
If you can let us know what your EGT's are looking like it would be helpful to make an accurate decision.
Are you running the Quadzilla right now?

The quadzilla is junk when I plug it in it just goes to limp mode. I seen switches on the chip inside but Idk what they should be set at
