I have used Lucas oil stabilizer in the past, this stuff sticks to engine parts better, helps with startup lubrication.. it reduces friction too.

If youre talking about the Lucas "Pure Synthetic" stuff, its pretty good stuff. The regular original oil stabilizer just thickens your oil......no bueno! Ive used the pure syn for a few years in my CTD. I mainly use it in the summer time, when towing my travel trailer on long 6 wk vacations. I also currently use it in my chevy dually with supercharged 461 big block, mixed with Quaker State 5w30 synthetic oil.
