its a little brass elbow near the fire wall on top of your injection pump with a line off it going to the turbo. my new boost elbow came with my fuel plate kit.

this is what im interested in eBay Motors: DODGE CUMMINS TURBO, TURBOCHARGER ADJUST BOOST ELBOW (item 110313856038 end time Nov-22-08 12:40:55 PST) thanks. its on the back side of the pump or the drivers side by where you can install the fitting for a boost guage? thanks |

for the price it cant hurt the one i have isnt adjustible and i got more boost when i put it on. theres a lot of mods you can do to the 12v for cheep or free like grinding the fuel plate and adjusting the star wheel in the afc housing (see pic above) and check out the 12v bombs section also there are kits for performance plates that include a boost elbow on ebay for a decent price if you didnt want to grind the plate.

thanks, i just bought that elbow, how much should i turn the star wheel to gain a little bit without hurting anything? im gunna order my set of guages pretty soon and was wondering if you knew anything about installing pyrometers?

i look on the back of my pump and still cant frind the stock elbow..
i feel dumb. there is a fitting thing but its like a t with two things coming off it. |

wow i must have put mine in the wrong spot with my stocker.. cause mines right in the front of my turbo. i just took the waist gate line off of the front housing, took off the fitting that it goes to, then i just put the boost elbow in its place and put the line back on. just let me know if u need a pic of it

hat turbo do you have?
because in the ebay auction of the boost elbow it shows it where you had it. but i my truck its on the lift pump by the afc housing and it just runs to the wastegate thanks. |

my stock turbo is a hx 35 and thats what i have the boost elbow on

its more affective on the turbo and eisyer to get to, just drill and tap the compressor housing, i pulled the fitting out of the one on top the pump and put a pipe plug in it, and put the elbow on my turbo, not that it matters now anyway since i have a non gated hybrid

yep that would be were it goes i aint never seen anyone put the adjustable boost elbo behind the bump way more work than its worth
