i want to put either a 7.3 powestroke or a cummins engine instead of my 400 gas, can it be done????

Sure can, and has many times. P.S. those trucks did come offered with a 7.3 IDI, but how did you get a 400, or have you changed it before?

His info says '87 F-350. Wouldn't that have come with a 6.9 IDI option, not the 7.3? Sorry, for being picky

true statement. im currently building A 91 F350 using my 94 p-pumped cummins 12v

87 had the 6.9 or 7.3 with the T 19 or ZF-5 option.
