Default Isuzu diesel?

I found an Isuzu 4BD2CA in a local junk yard and was thanking about maybe putting it in my jeep cherokee, but I know nothing about this engine and was hoping someone could give me some info. The data tag says 4BD2CA, 235cid, build date is 7th month 1996, and its 135HP. Any info on reliability, known problems, weight, anything! Thanks!!!

There is a dude that is putting one in a Grand Cherokee over on 4btswaps. He goes by Carcrafter 22 I think.

From what I have seen in construction equipment, Isuzu's are very reliable. They don't make the most power, or rev as high, but run a long darn time.

Just watched a Youtube video of a guy that had the same engine in a Ford F100. Was running twins and everything, it was a pretty sweet ride
