Talking powerstroke mustang

hey i'm new here and i kno its someday CUMMINS swap which i'm still gonna do but i was lookin up on craigslist and the 7.3 powerstroke's seem to be goin pretty cheap up here we have alot of mustangs at our shop (bout 7) i was kinda toyin around with the idea of swappin a 7.3 into one for a race car ( wont be till spring tho, the weight and tight engine bay seem to be the 2 biggest issues prob gonna tube frame it or somethin for the weight not sure exactly yet tho, i can either use a fox body or we got a rough 65 coupe thinkin the 65's the way to go i kno a 4bt would be easier but the 7.3's are way cheaper and it'd be kinda cool to keep it all ford even tho i'm a chevy guy who likes cummins any ideas? tranny? frame electronics makin it fit etc thanks

Default Mustang

I have an issue of Hot Rod with a Duramax powered mustang. The owner of the car is the owner of Nitrous Works. They said he drove the car to the track, ran several passes, then drove out to make sales calls on the way home. The car got 32MPG!! If you Google it, you will probably find lots of info on it. Pretty cool.

Merry Christmas!!

k boss says its a go so come spring or summer time there's gonna be a 65 mustang with a 7.3 bombin round so plans are either round or square tube frame prob go round for most of it being as we have the bender at work but i'm kinda doubtful about the capabilities of it as its only a exhaust bender it'd be nice to have round tube in the middle and square front and rear for suspension motor mounts etc i wanna do this as cheap as is safely possible right now any ideas? + i dont kno alot about these motors its gonna be a idi non turbo so turbo from ? and tune the pump ( not sure how yet ) and stack side pipes hopefully get it to run at least 14's thinkin a zf5 would be a sweet tranny especially cuz the boss races in super shifters and it'd be sweet to blow some smoke his way
