Well guys, looks like I won't be swapping in the CTD. Was going to install a 06 Cummins in my 98 V10 truck, but the IRS decided they needed my cash more than my family did!!! Just going to use the tranny now, Everything I've ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

Staying with the V10...not happy!!!!
Well guys, looks like I won't be swapping in the CTD. Was going to install a 06 Cummins in my 98 V10 truck, but the IRS decided they needed my cash more than my family did!!!
 Just going to use the tranny now, Everything I've read says the tranny will work with V10, anyone here know for sure? So anyway, I have an engine with 22,223 miles available if anybody wants to take on a swap? I have the whole truck, which was in a rollover. Everything in the engine bay is in great shape. Really bummed about this, but whats a guy to do? Let me know if any of you are interested in any parts off the truck before I start listing it all on ebay, good chance for some of you to pick up some needed parts.

Sorry for the delay, had to go out of town to pick up a 71 shovel head, couldn't pass it up, can you say freebie!!!
 Anyway, looks like most of you are midwest to east coast guys, those asking for the price for the whole truck how would you get it? I'm in Calif. Seems shipping would be cost prohibitive. Also, already pulled the tranny for the 98 and started pulling the motor. GMD isn't referring to me about spam is he?Well for those interested, looking to get 5K for the motor complete including all electrical componets on truck. $300.00 for the seats, but again shipping may be an issue. Let me know.
