Default 360 to 12v Cummins Swap

Hey,
Just purchased my first diesel from a friend up north. Truck is a Ram 3500 Dually. Its a swap from a 360 but hasn't been 100% completed. He did it right, bought a donor truck (1994 3500 12v Cummins that belonged to a friend of his had 90k on it). The truck that the motor was swapped into is a 1998 360 with 1 1/4 ton springs, all decked out. The truck was custom ordered back in 98 by him . The chassis has 80k on it and has been inside his shop all its life. New Alcoa wheels, and new tires.

Ok so heres where I am at. The Cummins has been put in the truck, trans bolted in, it starts, and the motor runs. He mentioned that the driveshaft had to be shortened. I'm assuming because the donor truck was flipped the driveshaft was un usable. Does anyone know if this is true about shortening the shaft? He wasn't 100% sure.

Next question is the cluster. Because of the interior and actual cluster layout differences I'm assuming I can't just put a 1994 diesel cluster in the 1998 truck. Will a 1998 diesel cluster work if I pin it correctly? Anyone have any access to any wiring diagrams?

Next the fueling system. Do I need to go with a different kind of pump to supply fuel to the injector pump other than a gas fuel pump? Any special filters I need to get?

Ok I'm sure I will have more questions when I go up in a month or two to pick this beast up.

The truck has all the peripherals including a new 4 core radiator, big upgraded intercooler, 5' stainless exhaust with down pipe, he said he has a 2 tank system for it, etc.

Overall I got this for my race team. I own a high performance Toyota shop, and a road race team. Looking to get a nice gooseneck for next season so I need the right truck to do it with. Not a fan of the newer emission trucks with the exhaust fluid and what not. Liked the idea of the older 12v or 24v cummins.

Anyways, I guess since I have this stuff to do I will be having to tow the truck down to Florida where I live and do everything down here.
