1976 Ford Courier v2203/t5 swap

Bought my intercooler today. It will be here next week. Got wire for the welder. Grabbed a bunch of steel from the shop. I will spend the morning dropping the motor in and measure to make my oil pan fit. Then Going to start "reshaping" the crossmember. Also hoping to get motor and tranny bolted together just to see how it all works
Should have pictures of progress

ok so like normal, not nearly as much progress as I wanted. Ended up spending most the day 9:00 am- 4:00 pm at my in-laws finishing up replumbing their main water line from the well to the house. Glad it is over. Got home and started measuring and cutting.
This is what I got done.
First cuts
Welding with a Lincoln weld pack 5000HD .035 flux core wire
Got some grinding done and then it got dark
I will cut the lower section off and continue grinding smooth. Feel like i got a descent amount done for 3 hours
I guess I didn't get a picture of the pan sitting in there. This should give me plenty of room. hopefully i will be able to gt the motor set in next weekend
Thanks
Ken

Got my intercooler last night. It is an eBay buy. It's 18x12x3.5 v-mount with 2.5 in/out. Inlet and outlet will just hug around my radiator.
The stock radiator has a core size of 18x13 and is a single core. So I figure I have double the volume in the intercooler. Kinda big,but it will fit to allowed space with some trimming.

No progress last weekend and there will be none this weekend. taking the family camping
But motor mounts are made. Still waiting for hydraulic mounts to get here.
Short ones will mount to the plate and be bolted to the center bolt pattern on the block. long ones will be welded to the frame.
Going to weld them up at lunch time
