47RE Problems
I had a problem with my truck shifting to early into 1st and 2nd and pretty much starting in 3rd with any amount of throttle. So i just put a Tfod diesel shift kit in and adjusted the bands, I didnt go crazy on the holes and the tranny was just rebuilt not to long ago. It started shifting better into 1st at about 10-15 and 2nd at about 25-30 at max throttle (still not good). But now all of a sudden it started having the same problem as before and when i manually shift it, it doesnt bang into gear no where near as hard. Could my bands come unadjusted or could it be something far worse?

What's the tps voltage? Is the tps voltage consistent when the bell crank is moved? Is the tv cable adjusted correctly? Did you adjust the bands. What's your line pressures compared to spec?

Found out that when I hit a bad bump my tv cable came off the tranny cause I forgot to tighten it luckily the spring was still there, but I checked my tps and it was .1v at idle and I couldnt adjust it, now I got a new one $140 later and its at .33V and I got the biggest hole I could drill in it. Why cant I adjust it? Has this ever happened to anyone? Its not at 1.2V till about half throttle

Your bell crank assembly is probably loose, you could adjust the linkage but it will still not be correct. Chances are your old tps was fine. Either rebuild the bellcrank or buy a tps delete. Did you make sure your throttle valve has max travel.

The valve seems to be getting full travel, and my linkage is all adjusted correctly. Most likely my old tps was good but I still cant get the voltage to spec with the new one. All linkage and everything seems good.
