Bought a 95 chevy 3500 Monday. It would crank and run but had a bad fuel leak. Got the fuel leak fixed and now it wont run. I put a used pmd(fsd?) On the pump while I had the intake off. And there's one mounted in the grill. But it doesn't matter which one is hooked up they both work the same. It would run with the fuel leak, now it wont. Help....

Got it to run today. It idled for 20 minutes then I drove it a mile down the road. It hiccuped under light driving(easing around in 2nd gear at 1500rpms) and when I turned onto the road it didn't want to run over 3000rpms. Got it back home and it idled for another 10 minutes then it started spitting and poppong at idle. Does this sound like the pmd/fsd? This is my first diesel but after driving it (even if for only 5 minutes) I love it. Please help.

 

Fixed the fuel leak then the Pmd box gave up. Got that ordered week later put it on, starter blew off, ordered that drilled/taped new holes and find out the alternator was no good. And since I was burning money I went ahead with glow plugs, fuel filter, and oil change. Now once I get new AC controls it should be good to go. Oh and new front tires. I love this truck now that it drives but the first sign of a hiccup and I'm taking it to scrap.
