My neighbor has a 1997 dodge 2500 cummins with an automatic transmission. He was having trouble with the torque converter slippipping when locked. We just changed out the stock torque converter for a billet converter. Now I'm not sure what we could have done but after putting it all back together the alternator will not charge, the tach will not work, the trans will not shift, and when you push the button to lock up the torque converter it does not lock up. We ( or should I say I ) need help. Please.
It's a 1997 dodge 2500 ext cab 4x4. The pump is slightly ( and I do mean verry lightly) turned up. He pulls a goose neck trailer regularly.
