Fuel delivery issues
99" F-350 205,000 miles had a 50 hp. Hypertech program since 2000
Started running rough so I sent it to a private shop & was told I needed new injectors, $3,200. Truck had no power so I sent it back to the mechanic, was told it was fine. It wasn't, and with less than 1k miles check engine light came on & lost all power at 75 mph. Stopped turned engine off tried it again, made it 6 miles happened again. Tried it two more times & each time it happened quicker till I couldn't go 30 mph.
Towed to differant shop & was told there was a fuel problem they couldn't pin down & I was sold a set of injectors I didn't need. Problem is they can't pin the problem down if it won't act up for them to read the codes.
Anyone that can shed light on this problem I would be greatful. Running out of money & tired of getting took by shisters.

Or test the I.D.M. (injector driver module) A place in Ft. Laud., FL. has rebuilt IDMs for like $180-200. They have a diesel engine set up in their warehouse, they plug in the old one to see if it malfunctions, if it does, you buy the rebuilt one. It's called ACE (Auto Computer Exchange) I believe.

One other possible source is the HPOP. My boss has an 02 and it would do that. I hooked up a mechanical high pressure gauge so I could see what was happening and it would suddenly drop the pressure from around 2000 cruising to around 400 to 500 and would barely do more than idle. Shutting down and restarting would make it run better for a little while. It was a bad HPOP. I now have an autoenginuity so I don't have to hook up a mechanical gauge which might be a bit crude but it was effective for low tech testing.

Towed to differant shop to check out UVC harness that was supposed to be replaced. Found out old one was zip-tied, only 7 injectors were replaced, no long lead on 8 cylinder, & weren't Ford OEM as specified & charged for.
Can you say "Court Costs"
